Holiday goers flock to Genting’s Winter Wonderland
Genting Highlands, 26th December 2019 – It’s All Happening at Genting Winter Wonderland as the festive season celebrations from the 28th November 2019 and until the 1st January 2020 continue to spread throughout Resorts World Genting. With bright lights and warm glows, guests enjoy the splendor of Christmas decorations and tunes with exciting events.
Speaking to visitors about their Winter Wonderland experience at Resorts World Genting, Ann from Kuala Lumpur for one had no idea she was walking into an unforgettable Christmas experience. The cool air and temperature set the mood for many; Ann included. What she loved the most were the variety of food trucks made available along the Gazebo Garden and classic Christmas movies played on the large screen at the Star Lake. The likes of Home Alone and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The decorations to Ann were impressive compared to others she has seen, her favourite being the Christmas Light Up tree.
Ng on the other hand from Malacca found this experience to be something new for her family and herself. Knowing that the Genting Winter Wonderland was ongoing, the family had timed their visit in such a way that the children got to enjoy the many Christmas activities available. From watching the incredible ice-skating performance featuring Brian Zimmerman as Santa Claus along with his elf and reindeer to countless photo opportunities with the Snowman and snowflakes in the booth by the ice-skating rink and sea saws.
“The weather was exceptionally cold today but that made it so much better as it fit the Genting Winter Wonderland theme” said Danish. Hailing from Cheras both him and his wife to be were influenced by all the Christmas postings online of their friends who had come up to Resorts World Genting to celebrate which had prompted him to do the same. Both were in awe of the performances at the ice-skating rink from the amazing moves by the skaters to the live Christmas music by the choir that was synchronized well with the performances. Their favourite decorations were the ones seen at the Gazebo garden.
As for Brandon from Kuala Lumpur the Winter Wonderland experience reminded him of Christmas in London, one where his children got to experience an outdoor Christmas surrounded with beautiful decorations and the perfect cool weather. Along the food market stretch in Metro Park, there were areas that made perfect photo opportunities, which according to Brandon encourages families to come and take pictures together to create more happy memories with loved ones. An unforgettable experience for him was seeing the joy exuded by his children who got to experience the Winter Wonderland.
Vinaka and family who were visiting from Sri Lanka were glad that they got to visit Resorts World Genting and catch the various performances and activities happening throughout the festive season. As for Vinaka she enjoyed the cool weather the most and the ice-skating rink as that is something, she would not be able to experience back at home.
The Genting Winter Wonderland runs till New Year’s Day. Do make sure you take time off to check it out.
