SASI THE DON, JACLYN VICTOR, CAPRICE & ALVIN CHONG COME TOGETHER IN COLLABORATION ON A NEW SINGLE “KEEP FLYING”
A power-packed song filled with good vibes for the people of Malaysia. The nation’s celebrated artistes Sasi The Don, Jaclyn Victor, Caprice, and Alvin Chong got together in unison to collaborate on a single expressing their love for their beloved homeland.
Moved by passion and emotions, the music, lyrics and video soon came together in less than 120 hours; with Universal Music loving the song and deciding to release this single under its label.
“Jaclyn, Alvin, Caprice and I have been thinking of writing a song for the longest time. We have sat through jam sessions working on melodies of all sorts. With all the negativity happening around the world today, we wanted to write something to unite Malaysians with a ‘feel good’ factor - a positive tone - and bring the good vibes up. It was when we heard the news on the potential closure of Malaysia Airlines that the lyrics 'Keep Flying' came to us, and it all naturally came together after that. We wish to dedicate this song to MAS, because we all can't imagine losing our national airline, our national pride and joy. We can’t imagine not being greeted and treated on board with their Malaysian Hospitality and passion that makes us feel at home even 30,000 feet in the air and hundreds of miles away. The song calls on all Malaysians to keep flying for what matters most to us,” said Sasi.
“Thank you for inspiring us and for being the spark of many dreams that have come true, with good memories and friendships,” said Sasi, together with Jaclyn, Caprice and Alvin echoing similar sentiments.
“Keep Flying” is produced by Sasi the Don and D’Navigator, with lyrics and composition by the former. The song and video are scheduled to be released after the 8th of April. Look forward to a catchy tune with an upbeat rhythm that is sure to give the song an edge to be a hit on the radio!
