Come end-November, local and international visitors will be able to get a glimpse of two of the world’s rarest macaws—the Spix’s macaw and the Lear’s macaw—in Jurong Bird Park, Asia’s largest bird paradise. With the addition of these two species to the Hyacinth macaws that already reside in the park, Jurong Bird Park will be the only public zoological institution in the world where guests can view the complete blue macaw family. The Glaucous macaw—the last member of the blue macaw family—has not been sighted since the 1960s and is believed to be extinct.

A group of cyclists from Malaysia are going for Asian Bike Tour, this is a bike race with only 200 qualifier cyclists, race started on 1st September - 7th September 2017 which the cyclist have to cover 1,200km in 7 days and most of the routes are climb. Each day the cycling distance is from 165km - 220km and the cut of time will depends on the distance, maximum cut of time will be 12 hours for 200km. Koh Dach known as ‘Silk Island’ by foreigners, this is actually a pair of islands lying in the Mekong River about 5km northeast of the Japanese Friendship Bridge and is only 15 kilometres from the centre of Phnom Penh. This Mekong River island's main attractions are its beach and its handicrafts community of silk weavers, wood carvers, potters, painters, and jewelry makers. The beach isn't spectacular by Southeast Asian standards, but it is convenient for Phnom Penh getaways.

The building is shaped in the form of a cross with a nice central dome. And has four wings filled with shops selling gold and silver jewelry, antique coins, fake name-brand watches and other such items. Shopping in Phnom Penh is on of the attraction for tourists who love to buy souvenirs. Central Market (Phsar Thmei) in Phnom Penh is a busy bazaars that are always crowded, it has everything right from food items to clothes, silverworks and jewelries. The market building is beautiful, a spectacular Cambodian architecture. You can also find electronic items and secondhand stuff here at an affordable price. The market is lined with hawkers who sell different kinds of tidbits.

Tinat Restaurant located at corner of Streets 154 and Streets 51 (Rue Pasteur) is one good value place to eat. It's about 900meter of walking distance to central Market from Eastland Hotel that I am staying. The restaurant patrons are mainly Khmers and also many of the expats regular place to eat. Their menu serving a variety of vegetarian, seafood, pork, beef and chicken of dishes.

Phnom Baset situated about 32km northwest of Phnom Penh we stopped by at topping a steep hill. Its extraordinary design resembles a cave and faces the west, which contrasts with other Khmer temples facing the east.

A dedicated team of Animal Care staff are hand-raising the chick at Jurong Bird Park’s Breeding and Research Centre; Squish is charming visitors during his daily exercise walks. For over two months, animal care staff at Jurong Bird Park’s Breeding and Research Centre have been mum to an adorable ball of grey fluff, and even pampering it with a pair of shiny blue shoes.

I have always liked the Mid-autumn Festival, especially the eating of mooncakes and drinking of tea normally associated with the festival. Just 2 minutes from Phnom Penh‘s riverside, tucked around the corner from the ever popular tourist spot this small Lucky Pho restaurant with only six big black tables inside and two more on the pavement. This restaurant offers a good bowl of pho (Vietnamese noodle soup). There are choices of pho with beef, pho with meatballs, fish, chicken or seafood.

Tonle Khmer Restaurant located right at front row of the river in Phnom Penh near the Palace, one of the best locations in Cambodia. Their food are reasonably price but was quite a long wait for the food to be serve. A great place for drinking and catching up with friends.

Cambodian food is perhaps the most overlooked of all Asian cuisines. Cambodian emphasised on balance of flavours between salty, sour and sweetness. Khmer food leans towards the sweeter side, from the marinated grilled pork, to the chilli pastes, even iced coffees is noticeable heavy of sweetness. Living in Cambodia give me a chance to learn about their cuisine and cultures.

A Singaporean owned restaurants in business for about 6 months for the 2nd branch in the town center serving the authentic Singapore chicken rice. 1st branch located just 300m by transport after airport towards road 4 and 3 been in operation since 2014.

If you're craving for Malaysian food this is a great spot. The Sambal here was good, and the nasi leak here is hot seller. This restaurant can accommodate 40 customers, at oxne time and usually the foreign working crowd eats here. Teh Tarik here was superb, not too sweet just nice! Its good Halal food at a reasonable price!

This restaurant located near to the airport, they offer a variety of Hong Kong style Chinese food,  it is modestly decorated, comfortable, most importantly they serve good dim sums which are meaty, delicious and filling at the price between US$2.00 and US$4.00 per basket.

The food was excellent, tasty and friendly staffs. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing, many Vietnamese and local Cambodian dine at this restaurant, tourist don't know about this place cause you can't find any information about this place online.

There are many Chinese restaurants in Cambodia and this restaurant is one of the best. Serves really good and authentic Chinese food. There are two branches, personally many prefer this one in the city cause good customer service and their staffs can speak Mandarin, Cantonese and English. prices reasonable and taste good. A variety of choice you can try here like crab porridge, fry beef or pork kuay teow and etc. To get here, you can take a tuk tuk and tell them "Tai Tai " restaurant, cost of the ride from US$2 to US$4, get the best deal...bargain it.

Noodle House is located on the Street 130 (Khemarak Phumin) not far from riverside. They offers a great choice of noodles. A friendly and comfortable restaurant with good view.
