Promenade Hotel Bintulu, Promenade Kota Kinabalu & Promenade Hotel Tawau ushered in Ramadan Al-Mubarak within a span of 1 week by hosting “Majlis Berbuka Puasa” with members of media fraternity based in Bintulu, Kota Kinabalu and Tawau respectively to signify the essence and true spirit of peace, forgiveness and togetherness at the forefront of this piety month of Ramadan.
“At Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu, we treated 20 residents of Rumah Anak Yatim (RAY) - an orphanage in Tambunan, SABAH – to a gastronomic sungkai experience besides promoting the gathering of friends and acquaintances.” - said Ms. Anita Chung – the Promenade Hotels Group Director of Sales & Marketing. We have something new this year to give a dash of cheerful festivity feel - we’ve assigned our resident band – Liberty Trio from the Lobby Lounge to perform Raya Festive Songs at Promenade Café from 7pm – 7:45pm daily throughout the month of Ramadan. – added Anita.
Smiles were apparent as tummies were full with warm, scrumptious food; and joyful chatter filled the air as everyone mingled around. Besides enjoying their stay at Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu, the evening saw each resident of RAY receiving a complimentary Aromatherapy Soap by NIZO Soap and ‘Duit Raya’ by Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu, which was presented by Ms. Anita Chung and Promenade Hotel Kota Kinabalu’s General Manager – Mr. Hafizan Wong respectively.
