MIXED MARTIAL ARTS CHAMPION READY TO HELP YOU STAY IN SHAPE
Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort welcomes mixed martial arts champion, Maxim Ganic, as he joins the team of professional personal trainers at the resort’s dedicated health and fitness facility, SoFIT. Maxim brings with him many years of dedication and amazing accomplishments as a sportsman to the resort.
The 28 year-old literally kicked off his career as an MMA athlete at the age of 5, when he took up Taekwondo. He then passionately explored into other martial arts disciplines, including mixed martial arts and kickboxing. By the age of 11, he started to get noticed by achieving 2nd place in the MMA nationals in the Ukraine.
From his deep and early roots in studying taekwondo, he stood out by triumphing in 2nd place again in a subsequent Ukraine national competition. Then, after spending time in the military, serving with the Ukrainian Defense Force, he swiftly climbed up to achieve the ranks of Lieutenant.
Following his passion in the arts and continuing on with his life journeys, his next destination was Denmark. There at the age of 20, he explored Muay Thai from different masters, and even further pursued to improve his skills at the famous school “Thai Tiger”, located in Phuket, Thailand.
After learning different skills in the arts, Max balanced it all off by increasing his knowledge in nutrition and biochemistry, of which led him to successfully achieve his degree in 2012, from Ben Weider Building College in Moscow.
For the balance of the mind, he traveled to the Himalayas, to learn yoga at the AYM School of Yoga. To complete and deepen his knowledge in Reiki and Tai Chi, Max went to Southeast Asia where he attained the degree of Reiki Master.
Throughout his career, Max has worked in over 6 countries, and he has made a name for himself in the Maldives and the UAE, working with notable figures such as footballer and Senegalese captain Khalilou Fadiga, Tobagonian footballer Dwight Yorke, Serbian professional tennis player Novak Djokovic, Italian fashion designer and inventor Roberto Cavalli, and others.
In his new role as a personal trainer at SoFIT of Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Resort, Max will deliver his amazing skill set and many years of expertise, bringing world-class fitness and training to help Sofitel guests attain magnifique levels of physical health and wellbeing.
