Galle Face Hotel’s Sea Spray restaurant is set to turn the tide on Colombo’s culinary scene when it opens its doors on May 20th. The upscale restaurant, with the largest oceanfront dining area in the capital, has its sights set on becoming Sri Lanka’s top seafood restaurant.

It’s Coffee and Chocolate High Tea Buffet every Sunday at the Lobby Lounge, Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The Coffee and Chocolate High Tea Buffet is from 2.30pm to 5.30pm, at RM95 nett per person. Coffee-flavoured desserts on the buffet include Tiramisu, Salted Coconut and Coffee Jelly, Latte Macchiato Panna Cotta and White Coffee Ivory Raspberry Tart, among others.

Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur will be presenting a Szechuan Food Promotion by guest chef Bart Chen at Shang Palace from 23 April to 7 May. Chef Chen, who is from the Shangri-La Hotel, Lhasa in Tibet, specializes in Szechuan cuisine. He has prepared an a la carte menu of his signature dishes as well as two set menus for guests at Shang Palace.

Malaysia-based Motorsport Event Organiser to Host First Round of FIM Asia Supermoto Championships in Australia. Asia Supersports Group (ASG) recently secured a 3-year deal with the Newcastle City Council to host the first round of FIM Asia Supermoto Championships in the second most populous area of New South Wales, Australia. Satheswaran Mayachandran, chief executive officer of ASG, disclosed that the group has selected Australia as the first round which will be held on 3 and 4 September 2016.

Converting hundreds of non rugby playing schoolchildren into potential players and rugby fans over the next four years - That is the goal of the Tag 7s programme organised by Rugby Singapore and the Singapore Rugby Union. The initiative is also part of the eight-month long youth outreach program for the HSBC World Rugby Singapore Sevens.
