“We created the restaurant as the perfect place to unwind, whether it is for leisurely lunch, after-work drinks or dinner with friends. We wanted a very relaxed, yet high quality dining experience for diners at AQUA; great food selection that is perfect for sharing, personalised service, contemporary design and a stunning view of the city skyline,” said Michael Groll, Director of Food and Beverage, Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur.

An array of specialties are featured on the menu from appetizers to hot and cold global plates, pastas and noodles to pizzas, burgers and sandwiches to desserts. Recommendations include Smoked Salmon Tartar with potato cakes, crème fraîche and chives, Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps with sweet basil, coriander and spicy lime dressing, Gambas al Ajillo with tiger prawns, garlic and olive oil and Pan-fried Shanghai Dumplings with a choice of sesame, spicy cucumber-tomato salsa or ginger-cucumber- teriyaki relish, priced at RM18nett onwards per plate.

Soup lovers will have a choice between French Onion Soup which is oven baked with baguette and three cheeses or Forest Mushroom Soup with sour cream and pesto Genovese crouton, both priced at RM38 nett per bowl. Pizza enthusiasts will be delighted with AQUA’s selection of wood-fired pizzas that include Pizza Margherita topped with organic tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, basil and extra virgin oil, Pizza Chorizo, prepared with spicy beef chorizo, buffalo mozzarella, garlic, organic tomatoes, olives and extra virgin olive oil and Pizza al Salmone, highlighting Norwegian smoked salmon, red onions, capers, sour cream and rocket salad, priced from RM58 nett onwards per pizza.

Another unique feature of AQUA’s interior design is the bar; white marble top with copper hammered base. While the bartender concocts signature cocktails, guests can take in a view of the infinity edge swimming pool and lush greenery of KLCC Park. Sip on AQUA’s signature cocktail, the Tom Yam Margarita - a spicy concoction using tequila, Cointreau, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaf, chili padi and salt, or perhaps a Millionaire Mojito – a mixture of Ron Zacapa Centenario Solera 23, lime, mint, sugar and Moët Chandon champagne, both priced at RM40 nett and RM68 nett. Lemonades are also a great highlight of the bar’s list of beverages. Flavours available are Lemongrass n Ginger, Basil, Strawberry n Thyme, Cucumber n Mint and Green Apple n Rosemary, priced at RM24 nett each.
