Previously the web portal only offered restaurants with their own delivery service to those cities – they have since started their own delivery service bringing with them their major restaurant chains. With a soft launch last Friday, foodpanda has already received some very encouraging feedback from residents of Ipoh and Malacca. “We never thought they would be bringing food delivery to our quiet city of Ipoh" says Shawn Lim, a local Ipoh resident and new foodpanda customer. “I am pleasantly surprised and find this service very convenient - plus delivery is free!”
