Amber Chia Academy Graduation Show 2014
Presented by Pensonic for a second consecutive year, Amber Chia Academy (ACA) celebrated its annual and fourth graduation show in grand fashion. More than a hundred and sixty modelling, kid modelling, makeup, nail art, and photography students - from both ACA Jaya One as well as ACA Berjaya Times Square - graduated at Paradigm Mall’s “In Style Spring/Summer 2014” fashion week.

The year 2013/2014 has been one of great growth for ACA ever since its inception during the second half of 2010. From just a mere fashion and beauty school, it is now also an avenue for individuals to pursue personal development and enhancement initiatives - which ranges from image grooming, and proper deportment, just to mention a couple, that are aimed at motivation and confidence building.

Later on in June 2014, a performing arts course will also be introduced, in collaboration with renowned professional drama organiser Happy Move, which is targeted to cater for those exploring various opportunities of the entertainment industry. Besides that, the academy at Jaya One was treated to an additional 2,000 square feet plus expansion in the past year to accommodate new studio space. A brand new www.amberchiaacademy.com website was also re-launched in March 2014.

All these while, ACA has always pride on the achievements of its students because it makes ACA founders Amber Chia and Benjamin Toong’s efforts in establishing the academy all the more worthwhile. Out of the many award winners and title holders that emerged from ACA in the past year, a prominent highlight definitely goes to former graduate Sheena Liam - a recipient of the ACA Star Award 2014 that evening - who was crowned the cycle two winner of Asia’s Next Top Model not too long ago, landing her a contract with Storm Model Management in London.As for Coco Siew, the female winner of the Asia New Star Model Contest 2014, she is now a regular face on the runways of fashion weeks around the city. Her male counterpart, Josh Yen, on the other hand, is signed to both Model Management Hong Kong as well as NOW Model Management Singapore. Ken Chung, last year’s graduate from ACA Berjaya Times Square, was recently named Manhunt Malaysia 2014.
