Ikan Panggang, literally translated as Grilled Fish is a common dish you can easily find in KK. At Food Centre 88 in Asia City, Ikan Panggang Tarzan's stall served perfectly grilled fish with delicious homemade chilli sauce which will definitely make you coming back for more.

Wufenpu (Chinese: 五分埔) is best known for wholesale garment market. Located in the Xinyi District of Taipei, ones can easily get there by taking MRT to Houshanpi Station.

Chef Tan's is a cozy little cafe at The Peak Vista, owned by former Executive Chinese Chef of Shangri-La Tg. Aru Resort Kota Kinabalu who has now retired after serving for 25 years. Started in July, Chef Tan's is offering both Chinese food and steak, as well as good coffee.

Geylang Lor 9 has been one of my regular dining place, since this place is easy to find parking and kung pow frog leg being my favorite food. This restaurant is located along Old Klang Road. They serve up some good steamed fish head, tilapia and some pork dishes as well if you don't fancy frog.

Originated from Melaka, Satay Celup is one of the famous local's food you shouldn't miss when visiting to this historical town. Situated at Pavilion Bundusan, Ben's Satay Celup Steamboat Buffet is a newly open long place for Satay Celup in Kota Kinabalu.

Park Village Restaurant is located on Jalan Batai Laut at Taman Intan, in the outskirts of Klang. This restaurant was bright and pleasant. Don't be suprised that most Klang family dine here on Sunday for their tradition dinner gathering. The advantage of being the only restaurant in the row of offices here, it has lots of parking spaces during the weekends.

Restoran Imperial serves up some good dim sum in the morning till lunch, don't be suprise cause the quality of service and food here are superb. Best of all prices are very reasonable, especially on weekdays lunch hour, they offer some good and cheap set of dishes. This is a great place for family functions or meet up, wedding reception and company dinner

Thim Kee serve cheap and delicious Chinese food in the vicinity of Pudu. They are famous for their tilapia fish done either steamed or fried. It was challenging to find parking here, Pudu plaza car park is an option since the stall is located opposite this old mall. This a clean and comfortable hawker stall to dine in.

Big Mouth Burgers is serving humanely raised meats from family farms and ranches that never implant or inject their meats with hormones or antibiotics. Their burger patties are handmade and fries are freshly card so their customers can taste the best and freshest ingredients. Big Mouth Burgers menu offer a variety of choices. Food here are great value for money and quality food.

The quality of the food at Tazio Restaurant is really good, their wait staff was very polite and professional; and it has a pleasant atmosphere. I had a great lunch here with my friend. The restaurant is located in the beautiful Boscolo hotel exedra, located on the piazza repubblica.

After long walk from piazza esplanade, Canova is a great place to stop by for a quick lunch and people watch. You can sit under sun or shade to watch people, tourist and working people. Food here quite decent but this place was very busy.

Geylang Lor 9 is the most famous frog porridge restaurant original from Singapore, now opened a second branch in Old Klang Road. If you don't like frog, their menu also offer a variety of cook dishes. Food prices are quite reasonable here. While I have never try the original Geylang Lor 9 in Singapore, so I can’t make any direct comparison, but it's certainly worth a visit if you love frog porridge.

When ones visiting Taipei, visiting the most famous tourist attractions, Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall and Taipei 101, is a must.

Kedai Kopi Lotus is one of the locals favourite spot for great food. Apart from the simple Chinese dishes, they also serves noodles, rice, Pork Satay, Grilled Fish, Grilled Chicken Wings and Dumplings. This restaurant is a hotspot for supper as well as for beer drinkers to enjoy a few pints of beer during the night.

Fu Hang Dou Jiang is an impressive place which attracted huge crowd of breakfast eaters who are willing to travel the distance, just to sink their teeth in one of the most satisfying shao bing (flatbread) and soy milk in the city.

Kedai Kopi Yuan Li is a famous place for Fish Noodle, a type of noodle made of fish. The restaurant which used to located at Jalan Pantai, next to Kedai Kopi Kwong Tung Chai, had relocated to the new shoplot in 88 Market Place about 8 months ago.

Formosa Chang is a chain restaurant in Taiwan which serve great Lu Rou Fan (Braised Pork Rice). Its consistent quality and reasonable price made it a highly recommended place for tourists.

In partnership with Gleneagles Hospital, Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur is initiating a fund raising drive for the hospital’s ‘A heart for a heart’ charity programme. Its mission is to financially support children born with congenital heart defects. Founded in 1996, ‘A heart for a heart’ charity programme was set up by Gleneagles Hospital to help children with critical congenital heart defects, who need urgent financial aid due to limited financial means, undergo corrective surgery at the Gleneagles Cardiac centre. This also enables children in critical condition from being on the waiting list.

90's The Restaurant and More is a cozy and family-friendly restaurant serving both Asian and Western cuisine in KK. Their Menu consist of a wide variety of dishes with reasonable pricing.

The bustling Food City, a food court located just next to Sazarice, is a great place for cheap and tasty hawker food. Getting there should not be a problem for locals, but outstation readers can refer to the address provided.

Apart from Bak Kut Teh, Siaw Er Bak Kut Teh in 1Borneo also serves Pan Mee and other Chinese dishes. During lunch hours, from 11am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, lunch set which included a main course and a drink is available at only RM6.80.

Mala Yuanyang Hot Pot offers great selection of fresh food and their soup is just fabulously spicy. The throng of people that frequent this restaurant is testament enough of its value for money. Queuing for a table is not uncommon, but it is definitely worth the wait. You shouldn't have to wait too long, because the 2 hour time limit for each diner ensures and fast turn around time.

 Illy is an internationally recognised brand for espresso that started in Italy, and has taken the world by storm. It's beginning to make some headway in KK, and We were delighted to have a been invited to attend a special 2 hour workshop, organized by the most vibrant Hotel in KK, Le Meridien KK.

Yu Hing is a local favourite for nice Chinese style dishes. Their Fresh seafood and tasty dishes has attracted Kkians for almost 2 decades, and will probably continue to do so into the foreseeable future.

Wonstar Hotel (Xi Men) is located in the famous XiMenDing, about 5 minutes walk from XiMenDing Metro Station.  It features air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV and free internet access.

La Vintage Bar & Grill is a newly opened theme restaurant which offers diners some western and local fusion food experience with fabulous environment. There are 4 different themes in this restaurant; vintage, oriental, Queen Elizabeth and English garden.
