Although Restoran Three Pot wasn't the most famous restaurant for Fresh Frog Porridge around Old Klang Road, undeniably, they do serve decent food at reasonable price.

Klang is where they said the origin or birthplace of Bak Kut Teh, now is widely available everywhere in Malaysia, we don't have to travel all the way to Klang for it. Klang BKT has a signaficant slightly thicker type of soup or broth, to some people the heavier in herbs and color made it tasted better. Don't be suprised at Soon Huat Restaurant, one of their signature dish is actually Steam Fish Head with ginger, garlic and onion paste, which can be sold out as early during weekend and of course you must try their Signature's Big Bone Klang BKT. Others recommended dish: Salted Fish Pork Meat Cake, Chili Fried Kampung Fish, Pork Leg Vinegar, Baked Salted Chicken, Assam Cuttle Fish and etc.

Norita Tom Yam is a Malay's restaurant located in Likas area, Kota Kinabalu. Besides Tom Yam, Sup Tulang (Beef Bone Soup) is another signature dish of the shop.

AFC teams up with Unilever Malaysia to film its first tea-based original production showcasing the diverse and versatile tastes of Lipton Tea. On Friday, 18 October 2013 at 9.30pm, the Asian Food Channel (AFC), part of the Scripps Networks Interactive family of lifestyle networks, will premiere a brand new cooking programme filmed in Malaysia called Tea Twist. The programme, which features local Malaysian chef, Nik Michael Imran, will air regionally across Asia to AFC viewers in twelve different territories. Viewers in Malaysia can catch the AFC Original Production nationwide on Astro Channel 703.

For the first time in Sabah, the opening of an art exhibition will feature various local art collaborators that will be using different forms of art to create awareness about different social issues. Organized by Contagious Creative Agency at South Sea Sanctuary in Kampung Air, “TACKit Reveals Three Sided Coin” will highlight photography by three photographers: Ron Pudin, Alan Kerroux and Jordan Sitorus. The photography on display and sale include images of avian, nature, habitat, travel and portraits. It will also feature Pangrok Sulap’s conscious art, printing and painting all the way from Ranau and paintings by Sattama, a local artist based in Kuala Lumpur.

Tucked in the secluded area, surrounded by housing estate in Taman Delima, Kedai Kopi Shang Hai Tian offers great Chinese's dishes at reasonable cheap price catering to the neighbourhoods.

At Wan Chai Food Corner, or more well-known as Liew Chai Vegetarian, is a local hawker's stall located at the lower ground floor of Centrepoint. Especially during lunch peak, the stall attracted huge crowds who craves for a quick bite on Vegetarian food.

Lucy's Kitchen is a nice modern style coffee shop known for its friendly service, good food and comfortable ambiance. Their wide variety of choices in their menu will definitely satisfy ones taste bud. The opening of second branch of Lucy's Kitchen comes along with the success achieved from the first branch located at 88 Market Place.

Restoran Heng Long is a "Chu Char" stall just located next to Happy Garden wet market. They serve a reasonable good stir-fried Chinese food, noodle, rice and food price are quite reasonable too. Only open around dinner time.

818 Seafood Restaurant is a chain restaurant which has a few branches located in Donggongon, Millennium Plaza, Kingfisher and Inanam respectively. The restaurant offers mainly Chinese food. In Millenium Plaza, the restaurant served both Chinese food and Chicken Rice under one roof.

Kapiti, an iconic New Zealand ice cream brand made a cool entry into the Malaysian market recently with its range of delectable gourmet ice cream flavours in tubs, multipacks and novelty packs. The designer ice cream received a laudable welcome into Malaysia by the New Zealand Trade Commissioner, Mr Matt Ritchie who officially launched the brand at Ben’s Independent Grocer at Publika along with Mr Darren Tan of Sungei Timur Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of Kapiti in Malaysia.

After a major facelift in terms of interior and exterior about 2 years back, hence, Kedai Kopi Xing Wan is now a new and modern place for a decent bowl of Pan Mee.

Fu Lin Restaurant is a new Chinese restaurant in Metro Town, located next to Tong Fung Seafood Restaurant. Some of their dishes resemblance to homecooked dishes with authentic taste.

  Located in 1Borneo, this coffee shop is known for its cheap Economy Rice caters mostly to working adults in the mall and shoppers. If you take a closer look to their Menu, they do offers varieties of ala-carte dish. One of the highlighted dish is the Claypot Lou Shu Fan.

Geylang Lor 9 is the most famous frog porridge restaurant original from Singapore, now opened a second branch in Old Klang Road. If you don't like frog, their menu also offer a variety of cook dishes. Food prices are quite reasonable here. While I have never try the original Geylang Lor 9 in Singapore, so I can’t make any direct comparison, but it's certainly worth a visit if you love frog porridge.
