Tomatoes are the ideal partner in fish soup. It help alleviate some of the fishy scent as well as bring a sweet and slightly sour taste to the soup. The Yu Chap comes with assorted fish products; fish fillet, fish ball, fish cakes, fish paste and perhaps some fish innards. Served with your choice of noodle, you can opt for yellow noodle, tuaran noodle, meehoon or koay teow. The Tuaran Noodle which is springy in texture goes really well with the soup.

Fish Skin has a smooth and tasty texture while high in collagen. A bowl of Mixed Fish Noodle with additional Fish Skin cost RM10.00, however, it was worth every cents you pay.
