FOOD can be found anywhere but what makes it special is its exclusivity and who would know this better than Sutera Harbour Resort, which boasts 16 F&B outlets under its wing! The Resort offers some of the best F&B selections that Sabah has to offer, ranging from local delicacies to Malaysian, Western, Italian, Chinese, Indian and Malay favourites. Served either from the buffet line or a la carte and from café style to fine dining, Sutera Harbour Resort has it all.
Over the years, Sutera Harbour Resort’s popularity as a food haven has grown in popularity not just within the local community but also business and leisure travellers who choose the Resort as their holiday cum business retreat while in Sabah. Due to the increase in interest, the Resort decided to take it a notch higher by launching its very own culinary festival in collaboration with Sabah’s supplier of fine wines, the Winecellars. The festival is aptly called the Sutera Harbour Resort & Winecellars Gourmet Fest 2013 and will run from May 11 to 19, 2013.
For nine days in May, food gourmands and wine lovers can enjoy varied tastes and flavours coming from the dinner tables of three of the Resort’s main restaurants – Italian Restaurant Ferdinand’s at The Magellan Sutera Resort, Chinese Restaurant Silk Garden at The Pacific Sutera Hotel and Malay Indian restaurant Spice Island at the Sutera Harbour Marina & Country Club.
The Sutera Harbour Resort & Winecellars Gourmet Fest 2013 aims to present elusive menus at special prices throughout the festival period. To make the festival even more enticing, the Resort will be flying in three spectacular chefs from outside of Sabah. Be prepared for an awesome culinary journey as you wine and dine with the best presentations from Chef Carmelo Greco, a Michelin Star Chef voted as the top five Italian Chefs in Germany, multi award-winning Chef Roy Wong from Palace of The Golden Horses Kuala Lumpur who is best known for his modern interpretation of Cantonese Cuisine, and Chef S. K. Sabuddin from Istana Hotel Kuala Lumpur who is an expert in Northern Indian cuisine.

Chef Carmelo will be assisted by another Italian Chef, Chef Guiseppe who also has vast experience in the culinary industry.
