Lately there has been an increasing awareness of the awesomeness of home made burgers. That the traditional fast food joint can no longer occupy a big chunk of our subconscious consumer mind anymore. One such burger that will break into the scene is Bombers burger.

Fonterra recently announced that it will be bringing in its best- selling cheese brand, Mainland to Malaysia. The product, which will be available in hypermarkets and supermarkets across the country from June 2013, was launched in conjunction with New Zealand Week, held between 11 and 23 March in Kuala Lumpur. Honorable Steven Joyce, New Zealand’s Minister of Economic Development, Minister of Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment, Minister of Science and Innovation and Associate Minister of Finance was present to officially launch the brand in Malaysia.

Living Seed Vegetarian Restaurant is known as the best vegetarian restaurant in KK. The restaurant serves really good vegetarian cuisine at a reasonable price. It is also a place that will never let you down with its huge portion.

Featured in the famous local food show 'Ho Chiak' before, the Hainan Ngiu Chap at Kedai Kopi Yii Siang is one of the best you can find in KK. Also, be ready to be amaze with the generous serving of Ngiu Chap when you visit the restaurant.

Roti Canai and Roti Telur is a typical Malaysian food which can be enjoy any time during the day. It is a cheap and tasty staple meal. In Kingfisher, one of the well known place for Roti Canai and Mutton Curry is at Restoran Farvis Curry House.

Qing Zhou Xiao Cai, literally translated as 'plain rice porridge and side dishes' is a nice little homely cafe located in Beverly Hills, KK. It is famous for Taiwanese porridge and side dishes such as steamed fish fillet and mei cai kou rou (braised preserved vegetables with pork).

Whether is just a plate of Fried Hokkien Mee or a few dishes with rice, Kedai Kopi Kam Kee always maintained its quality tastes of the food.

Located at Lintas Heritage Plaza, situated next to the Damai General Hospital, Restoran Eddie has been opened for business almost a decade now. One of the main reasons why Restoran Eddie has so many repeated customers, is because of the big portion of food on almost every single platter. Well, it is also a pork-free's restaurant.

Restoran Foh Chuan is a famous place for Tenom's cuisine, located in Bundusan. The signature dishes of the restaurant include the Stir-fried Tenom Noodle Wet Style, Kon Lau Mee and Beancurd with Pork. The restaurant opened as early as 7am and closed at 2pm daily.

Kedai Kopi Mee Ngar in Iramanis is one of our personal favourite place for breakfast. Apart from bread, cakes and pastries, you can also find some local Pau, Kuihs, Nasi Lemak, Noodles and Rice in the restaurant.

By day, Kuan Onn Tim Sum is a famous place for Penang Koay Teow Soup, by night, it is a place for Hokkien Noodle, Wat Tan Ho as well as Penang Lobak. Apart from its signature Hokkien Noodle, the restaurant also served simple Chinese food as a reasonable cheap price.

Archie De Corner had been operating since 1979 and is well-known for its big portion and great taste of Western Food. The stall had relocated from Kedai Kopi LY to Kedai Kopi K.S not long ago.

During the month of February, the month of Chinese New Year festival, Sushi King introduced the Prosperity and Abundance Menu. Well, we didn't miss the chance to sample the Prosperity Bento as well.

Lido Morning Market is not only a place where you can buy fresh vegetables and poultry in the morning, but also is an excellent place to eat. With plenty of stalls offering varieties of local food, it is an eye opening experience. Located at the opposite of the market, occupying the most strategic shop lot, there is an eatery crowded with patrons named as Kedai Kopi Keng Lok Yin.

Kedai Kopi Tien Wang 3 is strategically located in Foh Sang, Luyang. During the night, the restaurant serves Chinese cuisine originated from Lahad Datu. Also, it is a place where you can savour in juicy and tasty Labuan Pork Satay.

Judging by the long queue that form on the stall everyday, it proved that the Roasted Meats at Kedai Kopi Tien Wang are really delicious. From Roasted Duck, Roasted Chicken, Roasted Pork to BBQ Pork and BBQ Chinese Sausages, every single item is their signature dishes.

Ying Jie Ban Mian is one of the famous place for Pan Mee in KK. Their signature dish include the original Pan Mee and Pan Mee with Dumpling. Be ready for a long queue during lunch hours as the coffee shop will be really crowded.

Rumah Makan Daun Pisang is a restaurant specialized in authentic Indonesian cuisine, well-known for its great value of Ayam Penyet. It is also one of Everyday Food I Love's team favourite place for Ayam Penyet.

Maison Food at Each a Cup in Lintas Plaza, founded by a small group of friends, serves both Western and Asian cuisine at a reasonable price.  Ben, owner-chef, have travelled and worked in Taiwan and Australia to develop his passion in cooking both Eastern and Western food, it should be noted that Maison Food, and Each-A-Cup are 2 different entity, under one roof.

For the past four years Alu Alu has served innovative seafood at Gayana Eco Resort over the calm currents of the South China Sea. Now, Chef Khiong and his team from Gayana bring together their passion and creativity to create a menu using the same fresh organically farmed fish and vegetables. Dishes here are served Chinese cafe style, simple and affordable.

Kedai Kopi Cheng Wah is a coffee shop which serves great Ngiu Chap and Hainanese Chicken Rice in Lido. Famous among locals that were available within the neighbourhood, the coffee shop is always crowded during the day.

Opposite of GSC cineplex in 1Borneo, Hong Hai Snack Shop is a shop frequented by shopping goers for a quick bite. The varieties of snack available is the main attraction of the shop.

Restaurant Minangkabau Cuisines is located in Kepayan, near Cyber City. This cozy and comfortable restaurant offers authentic Indonesian cuisine.

Qing Bou Leong Bingo House, is named after a famous traditional herb drinks, Qing Bou Leong, which is believes to be suitable for people who suffer from deficiency of spleen energy manifested by poor appetite, dry cough and lack of strength. The restaurant which serves herb drinks,  assorted desserts as well as some local ala-carte dishes, had two branches in KK, respetively located in Damai and 1Borneo.

A nice and cheap place for a Pho. It is useful to remember that you do not necessarily have to spend 50,000 dong on a good local Vietnamese meal if you explore accordingly. This is a small noodle and bread stall, serving excellent Pho where local eats and only cost you 25,000-30,000 dong for a bowl of noodle.

Another Taiwanese bubble tea chain, Come Buy has entered the market to compete against the current operators, Chatime, Gong Cha and Ochado. The name 'Come Buy' sounds quite juvenile but apparently they are quite a big international player, having outlets in five different countries and selling over 500,000 cups a day. Like others bubble tea chain, Come Buy allows customer to choose the degree of sweetness for their beverages. Their drinks come in two sizes, regular and large.

XOI GA Number One, a humble restaurant with metal chrome tables and plastic chair which is frequented by locals after work hour before making their way home. Many locals stop by for snack on spring rolls or small bowl of noodles. You can tell the restaurant is good when the crowds keep coming in.

This restaurant is a very popular place amongst Malaysian and have since opened 4 outlets throught the Klang Valley. They serve authentic Taiwanese food, not the 'street' type but a more upmarket type. At Fong Lye, there are always a long queue for a table but no one mind waiting for it. I like the food here and they do serve some truly excellent dishes. The set meals here, offering nearly anything you could possibly think of at a particular moment whether it's rice, noodle, soup, fish, meat, and even snacks.

Pancake House International has two branches in KK, located in Karamunsing Complex and 1Borneo Hypermall respectively. The Pancake House offers a wide variety of home comfort food: golden brown pancakes, waffles, a rich variety of pasta, steaks, burgers, all-time favorite chicken, refreshing salads, deli sandwiches and desserts.

QQ Cafe Steamboat & BBQ Buffet is a famous place for hot pot in Kota Kinabalu. During weekend and public holiday, the huge crowds started as early as 6.30pm in the evening.
