Winning the award of being the best burger for Western Australia in 2012, is certainly no small feat. Being a big fan of burgers, we made it a point to visit one of their many little outlets, one of which is here at Leederville.

Leederville is a vibrant, inner-city suburb minutes away from the Perth city centre, close to cafés, restaurants, shops, recreation facilities and public transport. It's a locality within the City of Vincent within the Perth metropolitan region of Western Australia. It is home to Aranmore Catholic College, The Schools of Isolated and Distance Education, Central Institute of Technology Leederville Campus and St Mary's Church.

Many good clubs, bars, cafes and restaurants located in this suburb....a very happening place on weekend!

 

Cheese Burger, AUD12.50 (Western Australia Amelia Farm beef, MSA approved, hormone free - char-grilled). The bun was firm, packs a lot of bite and rather filling. The meat for the beef patties were moist enough, but not too juicy to make a mess of yourself, which is unfortunate since we weren't dressed up anyway. But for working men and women, then I guess this is  plus point. But what it lacks in juiciness, it makes up for in flavors. Infused with herbs, this burger carries a good flavor but not too much so as not to overwhelm the fresh beef.

 

  

The chips were crunchy and and filling as well

 

If you wish, you can have a small side of salad, consisting of various cabbage (green and purple) carrot some special mayo

Half and Half (AUD10) you choose your burger - beef, lamb or chicken burger with chips or salad, homemade tomato relish and slaw. For those with a smaller appetite, go for the mini sized burger, but still packs the same goodness as a regular sized burger.

 

 

After a heavy lunch we decided to walk back to the hotel and enjoy the scenery, which took around 45 minutes approximately to reach our hotel.
