Uncle Lim’s is a modernize Kopitiam whilst preserving its old charm, so that it can take us into the future instead of fading away into oblivion. Kopitiam had long been the social focal point for the peoples of this region. Leisure time was enjoyed with friends over cups of freshly brewed aromatic kopi together with a wholesome and affordable traditional fare. The cafe has become a culture in Malaysia for all races, whether we choose to call it a Kopitiam, a Kedai Kopi or a Mamak Stall, these outlets have long been providing us with various traditional food.

Nasi Lemak Beef Rendang, RM10.90
Rice has a perfect aroma from pandan leaves and coconut milk served with a transparent, chewy sotong (squid)topped with spicy and addictive sambal; nicely cooked beef rendang which was tender and will just melt in you mouth kind of feeling, plus it has a good, creamy and full of spices flavored gravy.

It has a thick broth almost tasted like gravy which was rich, spicy and tasted a little sourish from the assam, perfectly served with meehoon.
