But unlike a typical 5 star resort buffet spread, Penyu restaurant adds loads of local delicacy found mostly at street corners or quaint home restaurants. Hence a tourist from faraway need not go to all the hassle of searching every nook and corner for these elusive food. That's because Penyu restaurant offer the same authentic stuff right here at their buffet spread. One of these local delicacy is the Yong Tau Fu, or stuffed beancurd (as well as stuffed peppers and Stuffed peppers).

These are the various selection of Stuffed vege, peppers and gourds. All these are stuffed with fresh fish paste. What results from this creation is a fragrant and savoury taste of the fish, while also retaining a firm and springy texture, when combined with the crunchy gourds and peppers, it combines a harmony of spice, savoury, slightly bitter (from the bitter gourd), and the springy savouries of the fish paste. A must try indeed.
