Tai Thong Mooncake, Malaysia’s leading mooncake brand hosted an exclusive mooncake making workshop at Imperial City Restaurant, Cheras where four big-hearted local celebrities (Veteran actor Cheng Kam Cheong and actress Lai Meng, together with singer Christopher Lay and radio DJ Jym Chong) made mooncakes and donated them to an old folks’ home.

Tai Thong Mooncake, Malaysia’s leading mooncake brand yesterday hosted an exclusive mooncake making workshop at Imperial City Restaurant, Cheras on Monday, 9 July, 2012 where four big-hearted local celebrities made mooncakes and donated them to an old folks’ home.
Veteran actor Cheng Kam Cheong and actress Lai Meng, together with singer Christopher Lay and radio DJ Jym Chong worked with Tai Thong Group Executive Chef Yiu Wing Keung to hand make four assorted mooncakes, namely Snow Skin Lotus, Snow Skin Red Bean, Snow Skin Yam Paste with Single Yolk and Snow Skin Durian Coulis. The mooncakes were then donated to Ci Hang-Cempaka Welfare Home.
This charity effort is part of Tai Thong’s commitment to regularly give back to the community in need, such as during festive seasons like the upcoming Mid Autumn Festival. As a restaurant group that cares and shares, Tai Thong took the initiative to show their appreciation and respect towards underprivileged senior citizens by organising the workshop and share the festive joy with them. For women patients they can request for ladies sifu for their treatment.
