Tung Kee Restaurant is a new shop in 88 Market Place specialized in serving Fish Head Curry and Singapore Hokkien Fried Noodle.
The Fish Head Curry at Tung Kee Restaurant is incredibly rich in flavours and delicious. Consists of sourish, spicy with slightly sweet taste, the thick gravy enriched with spices eliminated the unpleasant smell of the fish head. It was cooked with brinjal, lady fingers, tomato and pineapple. The portion of the dish was enough to be shared by 3 to 4 persons (with rice).
Singapore Hokkien Noodle RM7.00
Another signature dish of the restaurant is the SIngapore Hokkien Noodle. The dish uses both the yellow noodles and rice noodles, stir fried in lard and served dry. The main ingredients are shrimps and small pieces of sliced beef. It tasted savoury-sweet with a nice fragrant. Served with their homemade spicy sambal, it is delicious.
