The original Pontian Noodle founder is Heng Heng Noodles Shop, since 1948, had started selling wonton noodles on the streets of Pontian, Johor. Back then, it was known as Dan Dan "noodles". In 1976, Heng Heng Noodles Shop established in Parit Mesjid. In 1989, the first branch opened in Medan Ko-op, a.k.a. the JPJ branch. Pontian wonton noodle is self-made and top with the family special sauce which is a combination of tomato ketchup and other ingredients. The family recipe has been passed down and refined over three generations.

It came with a few slices of char siu, fried wantons, vegetables and a bowl of soup with two wanton inside. Pontian style wanton noodle has a hint of spiciness from the sauce and the noodle texture was not that springy.Wanton Soup, RM4.00
