Vishal is a Chettinad restaurant, they are specializes in spicy and aromatic dishes from Tamil Nadu, has been operating their business in Brickfields for the last five years. You will be overwhelming with the selection of food and felt intimidated to take whatever was recommended by the friendly and excellent service waiter.

Rasam, a spicy and sufficiently sour tasting soup but without overpowering the rest of the flavors, it was served together with the meal. Once tasted it, you'll become fans of rasam. Rasam soup served in stainless steel cup is traditionally prepared with tamarind juice, lentils and vegetable.
For refreshments, Andrew ordered a mango lassi (RM5.00) which was claimed to made with Indian mangoes.

Chicken Varuval, RM 4.50 x 2
Spicy, hot and slightly oily dish. The chicken meat was tender and the marination has permeated right to the bones.
 
Banana Leaf Rice, RM5.00 x 3
Rice were smothered with fish curry. The fish curry was really good to o with the plain rice, not only has a nice aroma that bring up your appetite but made you mouth watering too.

Chicken Perattal, RM4.50
The curry was thick and full of spices. The chicken meat was succulent, tender and fully absorbed all the aromatic flavors.

To end your meal, for appreciation fold the banana leaf edge toward you to signify their food is good and if you fold away from you, it means you're dissatisfied with your meal.
