Sweet Chat Cafe is a Halal (Halal certified by The Department of Islamic Development of Malaysia) chain of dessert, with their first Mid Valley outlet opened for business since 29 June 200. They offers over 50 types of authentic local and Hong Kong desserts, meals as well as hot and cold beverages that cater to all Malaysians from all walks of life regardless of race or religion. You'll enjoy quality food, a relax, cosy, up market and stylish ambient which is perfect for family gatherings and catching up with friends. With its free WiFi connection make it an excellent place for business meetings or discussions.

Station One Leisure Cafe is the latest Kota Kinabalu eaterie to open up within Lintas area and Suria Sabah. It has a very good ambiance with both indoors and al-fresco dining options available, the decor in each branch is also quite impressive. 

Nihon Kai Japanese Restaurant located at Old Klang Road is a hidden gem. If you are craving for Japanese food yet you are a bit tight budget, this is a place to go for an affordable and quality food. Although this shop is located in a hidden area but they still enjoy brisk business for lunch and dinner, reasons, they are generous with portion of serving and charging an economic price.

  Strategically placed at the busiest road linking Inanam and City centre is a nice and cozy restaurant that has stood the test of time and have gone through a major and modern facelift. Cherry Club which it was known before has modernised its namesake to just Cherry, is a place more famously known for its entertainment unit as well as a place where people to win a fastlane ticket to riches.

Kim Gary Restaurant is a Hong Kong style restaurant, most popular for their Cheese Baked Rice with Chicken/ Pork Chop. During the breakfast hours, Kim Gary offers a variety of Set Meal at an affordable prices.

On my trip back to KK it ws good to stop by this coffee shop located near KKIA, Kedai Kopi San Sui Baru well-known by the locals. From Tom Yam Noodle, Fish Noodle and Fried Noodle to some simple Seafood dishes, the restaurant offers not only variety but also good food. Only open for breakfast and till late lunch hours.

Subway is an American restaurant franchise that primarily sells submarine sandwiches (subs) and salads. The 'Sub Of the Day' promotion is available daily during the weekdays. You can grab a 6-inches Sandwich at only RM7.50 during the promotion.

Spinning or Power Pacing is an indoor cycling class led by trained instructors. Workouts are conducted on specially designed stationary bikes that feature a weighted flywheel, a front wheel, plus adjustable seats and handlebars. Kim Lian Kee was founded in 1927 by Ong Kim Lian who migrated to Malaya from Fukien, China, for a better life. The enterprising man ventured on his own with a food stall selling fried Hokkien mee at Campbell Road (now known as Jalan Dang Wangi). As the business expanded, he then, moved his stall to a bigger premises at Petaling Street. Over the years, with its good business, Kim Lian Kee Restaurant managed to opened a few branches in KL which included the latest branch at Viva Home Mall.

Jonker Walk Kopitiam at KLIA Domestic Terminal is a good place to get a quick snack if you are on your way catching your flight. Serving most local favorite sanck food like half boiled eggs, kaya butter toast, kopi 'o' and other local delights. Jonker Walk Kopitiam is a franchise chained originally from Plaza Usahawan, Jalan Hang Tuah, Melaka and it's HALAL.

The namesake "Fruits monster" certainly doesn’t befit its nourishment offering to the public. Fruits Monster Cafe specialized in dessert and ice cream. Apart from that, they also offers some main dishes and snacks.

During the 2nd Day of Chinese New Year, Chinese will have their 'Hoi Nin' feast at home with family. It is known as the beginning of the year, hence, having a feast will bring good luck and prosperity to the members of the family.

Chinese New year is the most important of traditional Chinese holidays. In China, it is known as "Spring Festival", it mark the end of the winter season. The festival begins on the first day of the first month "Zheng Yue" in the traditional Chinese calender and ends with Lantern Festival which is on the 15th day. Because the Chinese calender is lunisolar, the Chinese New Year is often reffered to as th "Lunar New Year". On Lunar New Year, abstaining from meat consumption on the first day is believed to enhance longevity. Additionally, a vegetarian dish helps to purify and cleanse out the body as well as it honors a Buddhist tradition that nothing living should be killed on the first day of the New Year.

During the Chinese New Year's Eve, without fail, families will gather for a feast known as ''Tuan Yuan Fan'', literally  translated as Reunion Dinner. Chinese New Year’s Eve dinner is the biggest event for this festival, this meal is comparable to Christmas dinner in the West. After dinner, some families go to local temples hours before the New Year begins to pray for a prosperous new year by lighting the first incense of the year. However in modern practice, many households hold parties, even hold a countdown to the New Year and will end the night with firecrackers. Traditionally, firecrackers were once lit to scare away evil spirits with the household doors sealed. Fireworks must be lit before 24:00 on the New Year’s Eve.

A day before the Chinese New Year's reunion dinner, we had our "Lou Sang" Lunch at home with family and friends. Mum cooked a delicious feast for 8 peoples.

We venture into Wai Sek Gai (Pure Glutton Street), a hidden street in between shophouses in Pudu converted into a food street with stalls offering all sorts of varieties with tables and stools all along the street. KL local favorite street food, it used to be one of the most happening streets decades ago. Famous for its food, that's how it gained the name of “Wai Sek Kai”. The glory of the food on this street lives till this day. Most of the stalls here open from 4.30 pm till late.

Qing Bou Leong Bingo House, is named after a famous traditional herb drinks, Qing Bou Leong, which is believes to be suitable for people who suffer from deficiency of spleen energy manifested by poor appetite, dry cough and lack of strength. Apart from the herb drinks, the restaurant also serves assorted desserts as well as some local ala-carte dishes.

Zhong Zai Fan is basically consist of steamed rice in a small pot. At 1Borneo food court, the Zhong Zai Fan comes with assorted  ingredients.

We were invited to attend the Official Grand Launch at Vertigo Club @ The Gardens. It was an awesome party and the ambiance was electric. Located at the rooftop of The Gardens at Mid Valley City, Vertigo is a new, trendy and hip and glamorous night club for all party goers. Its location also boasts glamour and exclusivity.

BB Cafe is a well known backpacker and tourist hangout place. The al-fresco dining area  is decorated in an ethnic Borneo style. It is q truly relaxing and fun place to meet new friends and chill out after a long day. Wide variety of alcoholic beverages are available at a reasonable pricing.

Hua Xing Restaurant located in a complex on the first floor behind the main road, this location look a bit scary if you're going alone, it was a quite area. This restaurant that has been around for a very lont time, is still a hot favorite among old timer. At the air conditioned dining area, it is always packed with people during dinner time. We ordered most of their specialties and just waited for the food to come. Their Hokkien cuisine is really famous and has never been short of endorsements from local celebrities. Hua Xing has recently re-laminated their newspaper cuttings and wall photo-menu!

Putera Theater Grand Ballroom can be rented and can accommodate over 30 tables of guests, with disco facilities and also a large stage, which is perfect for special events such as wedding banquet or annual dinner.

Walk down memory lane dining at this Restaurant Sek Yuen which has been around for over 50 years, just off the busy main road in Pudu. Now run by the 3rd generation Phang's family and still draws in a large crowds with their old Chinese style of cooking food using charcoal, just like the olden days. Even the rice here is slow-cooked over wood fire and serve with aluminium bowl. We felt like we were walking back to the 1960s once we stepped in. The do have an air-conditioned seating area over the next door shop but most people still prefer to be seated at the original old building. The nostalgic interior of old wooden chairs, faded tables and polished tiles bear witness of time. We reached around 7pm, and the place was already pack, we waited 15 minutes for a table.

Together with a few friend, we drive over to Happy Garden searching for a restaurant for dinner. We are basically clueless, but end up having a great dinner at Restoran Fresh Fried Seafood. Good food, reasonable price, fast and friendly services. You can see many of their patrons are regulars. Must try their Chef Recommended dish: Deep Fried Pork Knuckle, Nyonya Style Steamed Tilapia Fish, Three Style Pork Ribs and etc.

Prior to this, Kenny Rogers Roasters were giving out Free 1 Kenny's Quater Meal for every 1 Kenny's Quarter Meal purchased at the outlet with the condition of either one of the purchaser had to wear red colour clothing, footwear or accessories.

I like piping hot noodles with a good broth. Corrine introduced me to try out this Win Soon Fish Head Noodle Cafe. She told me, they have 2 branches, one at Kuchai Lama and another at Puchong Bandar Puteri. This place always crowded during lunch and dinner. You get a choice of fish head, fillets, fish paste or even the deluxe addition of prawns (RM15.80). Price for a basic noodles start from RM8 onward and I believe most of the customers don’t mind to pay for a bowl of lip smacking fish head noodle with this price range. Simply love their tasty rich broth filled with rice vermicelli, salted vegetables, evaporated milk, shredded ginger, sliced of tomato, crispy pork lard fritters and big chunk fried fish head meat and nice springy bite of fish paste.

I've been invited for the soft launch of Din Tai Fung e@Curve, they're having a trial run for their business to make sure their services efficiency and food quality reach their guest expectation. Din Tai Fung has been voted Top 10 Restaurants in the World by The New York Times and has garnered 1 Michelin Star. This Taiwanese restaurant serves on of the best Xiao Long Bao (steamed dumplings). Open kitchen concept is their trademark and also well-appointed decor, serving comfort food like pork chop fried rice and stir-fried vegetables. Or go for a heartier meal, the braised Beef La-mian, springy noodles wallowing in rich beefy soup. I would highly recommend this be a once a week family visit restaurant with dishes like steamed chicken soup, fried rice with pork chop that is incredibly tender, noodle soups and wantons (all hand-made) that will please anyone and any age group.

Kaldido Cafe is not a very extra ordinary place, but good if you want variety under one roof. The cafe offer a variety of dishes from Char Siu (BBQ Pork), Zhu Chap (Mixed Pork Innards), Roasted Chicken to fried rice, fried noodle and some Chinese's dishes.

Xiang Fu Xiang Cheng is a new Hunan restaurant located on the Level 1 of The Scott Garden. Sin Chua Kee Seafood Restaurant is a seafood restaurant near Old Klang Road that located at Jalan Kuchai Lama, which just after the Old Klang Road's wet market. A reminder to go early, best to be there by 6pm, if not be prepared for a long wait. I would like say no matter how busy this place is the lady who took our order was very pleasant, service with a smile, it makes everyone happy. We ordered Assam fish ( house special), salted egg crabs, la la in superior soup, prawns cooked in dark soy sauce and a stir-fried vegetable, that's for 3 person dining in.

SRS MY Cafe at 1Borneo offer valuable set meal with price starting from RM6.50. Located next to Home Cafe, the cafe possessed a very strategic location in the mall.
