Yong Tau Foo @ The Garden, Mid Valley



Yong Tau Foo is a famous dish in KL, origanated and made famous by a restaurant named Chew Kuan in the early 1960s. Yong Tau Foo means "stuffed bean curd", since then they had introduce more variety of stuffed vegetables and fried fritters. Some of the popular selection of food items including fish ball, crab stick, bittergourd, cuttlefish, ladies finger, chili and various form of fresh seafood. The dish is eaten with soup, curry sauce, sweet bean sauce and sambal/chili dipping. Now, halal Yong Tau Foo is widely available at food court and in the shopping mall. Down the LG level of The Garden, you can absolutely found one good YTF's stall that will be over-crowded during lunch hour!
