PO CHI LAM @ KK TAIPAN
A very interesting Chinese themed restaurant based on a famous and adored character, this coupled with very nice ambiance and good tasting food makes this a nice haunting place for foodies.

As you can see the interior is decorated very nicely, that looks between a cross between chinese and old Portuguese feel. It also feels rather comfortable and cozy
Interesting Washroom signboard
Thai Style Chicken Chop, RM13.90
The chicken was crispy and tasty and the sauce, and the sauce accompanying it adds a nice soury spicy kick to the dish.
Sweet and Sour Pork, RM11.90
The meat on this dish is spongy but crunchy in the core. The sauce was sweet and (like the name suggest) sour. The capsicum adds a little spicy and savoury taste to the dish.
Choy Sum garlic sauce, RM6.90
The vegetable was fresh and crunchy while the garlic gravy was tasty but nothing really special here.
Roasted Chicken Noodle, RM8.90
Their signature self made noodles, are spongy and firm, and when mixed around with the sauce adds a aromatic and tasty noodle. The roasted chicken was juicy and the skin was chewy although not as crispy as one would hope.
Roasted Chicken Rice, RM8.90
The chicken and sauce is similar to the noodles before this. The sauce is also a nice accompaniment to the rice, but it would have been nice to have an actual sauteed rice, instead of plain whites.
All in all, the food combined with an good ambiance, makes you feel like as if you've traveled back in time to the time dining in a shop owned by the venerable Wong Fei Hong.
Total paid for dinner, RM70.30
