Tosai
Made from rice batter and black lentils, the Tosai tasted a little sourish on its own. Before consumption, it is suppose to be dip with dhaal or curry sauce for extra flavours.
Putu Mayam
Putu Mayam is made from rice flour and water. These vermicelli-like noodle is steamed and served simply with palm sugar (gula melaka) and fresh shredded coconut.
Curry Fish Head, RM40.00
The fresh and meaty fish head was cooked with strong curry spices, tomato and ladyfingers. Consisted of spicy, savoury, mild sourish with a hint of sweetness, the strong element of flavours however, doesn't over-power the original taste of the fish. It was definitely not bad.
Pickles and vegetables
Cucumber Salad
Stir-fried Cabbage
Deep Fried Bittergourd
Mutton Curry
The spicy and rich Mutton Curry tasted pretty good. Personally, it suited our taste buds as the mutton contained mild gamey taste.
Total paid for dinner, RM72.00
