Hometown Cafe had just started operating not long ago. Serving some locals hawker food such as Curry Laksa, Prawn Noodle, Nasi Lemak and Ipoh Koay Teow Soup, this cafe however, has a comfy ambiance and settings.

Beef Rendang with Rice RM6.90

Loaded with spices and coconut milk, the Beef Rendang tasted rich. The meat had absorbed the spicy condiments very well but tasted a little bit too salty to my liking. Rating: 2.8/5

Ipoh Koay Teow Soup RM6.50

The Koay Teow is smooth and silky and it goes well with the sweet-savoury flavour soup. Comes with few fresh prawns, fish ball and shredded chicken. Taste wise, it was not bad. Rating: 3/5
