Nasi Lemak (pre-packed)

Jack and I were more than happy to play with out new toy, Canon G12. With the low lighting at Restoran Sempelang, we were still able to captured some nice photos.

I was too hungry after my two yoga classes. While waiting for my food to be ready, I shared a pack of Nasi Lemak with Jack. Surprisingly, it was good. The rice was fragrant with coconut milk while the Sambal was fragrant with spices. The Sambal tasted sweet and contained just mild spiciness.

Actually, I'm not sure about the dish I had ordered. When my Mee Bandung arrived, I mistaken it as Tom Yam.

Mee Bandung

The Mee Bandung was tasty. The gravy was sweet and similar to sweetened tomato's sauce. Stir-fry with some broccoli, cauliflower, mushroom, onion, carrot, prawns and squid. It goes well with the pre-fried noodle which was rich in savoury wok taste. We can smelled the nice aroma while taking the photo of the noodle.

Tom Yam Chicken Soup with Rice

The Tom Yam Chicken Soup was well-spiced. Sourish and spicy. Fragrantly good with lemongrass and kaffir leaves flavour. Cooked with broccoli, cauliflower, mushroom, onion, carrot and chicken. Nothing much to be complain about.
