Green Pepper and Black Bean Sauce Beef with Koay Teow
Well, since it was raining, I've been cracking my head thinking of where to dine. Finally, I chose to go back to Bay View Seafood Restaurant and try my luck whether I could find the Lala dishes there. A little disappointed though, when I find out that they serves fish and prawn but not Lala. Anyway, the prices of their dishes had been reduced. It could be the cheapest Tai Chow's place you can find in KK.
I ordered the Green Pepper and Black Bean Sauce Beef with Koay Teow. Taste wise, it was good. Jack couldn't stop himself from having a few bites of my noodle. The black bean sauce wasn't too salty, instead it contained a hint of sweetness. The beef was tender and smooth. The koay teow was full of savoury wok taste. Portion was big as well.Dry Tom Yam Beef with Rice
Jack was tempted by the Dry Tom Yam Beef with Rice. Special dish! The gravy tasted a little sourish with mild spiciness and mild coconut milk flavour. Beef was tender. It also comes with brinjal which was soft and absorbed the gravy well. Jack ordered an extra rice to go with the dish.
Total paid = RM9.60 (including 2 X Plain Water and 1 X Extra Rice)
Cheap!!
