Hunting for food seems to be harder these days. We had covered most of the restaurants in KK and only left a few areas that we seldom venture into. Tonight, I was quite surprised to find a place that serve Fried Rice Cake (Pak Kueh) in KK.
Fried Rice Cake RM5.00
The Fried Rice Cake is one of the Hokkien's dish and not a lot of people had mastered the cooking of the rice cakes. The Fried Rice Cake here considered quite good. The savoury wok taste was there while the rice cakes still maintained a nice chewy texture. Stir-fry with some pork, black fungus, vegetables and eggs. It tasted a little bit like Hokkien Mee's taste.
Salad Chicken Chop Rice RM5.50
The Salad Chicken Chop Rice was not bad as well. The crispy Chicken Chop was topped with mayonnaise which tasted sweet with a mild tang of lemon's flavour. My only qualm was the rice tasted a little soggy.
