My friend's sister had recently tied the knots and their wedding dinner was held at Shangri-la Tanjung Aru Resort and Spa. As a complimentary gift, the hotel had provided a One-Night-Free-Staying at the seaview room for the couple. Since the couple had left KK soon after the wedding celebration, the gift was passed to my friend.
Then, my friend invited me and another friend to join her for a short holiday in the resort. We checked-in early of the day and unwind ourselves at the resort.
Besides enjoying the nice scenery at the resort, we also went for swimming.
We had actually planned to get intoxicated later by the night, so, we had some staple food at the hotel's restaurant.
Fried Meehoon
The Meehoon was fried with seafood. It tasted not bad. The seafood was fresh and well-cooked.
Fried Noodle
I like the Fried Noodle. It was not too dry, tasted savoury with a hint of sweetness.
Fried Rice
The Fried Rice was fragrantly good. Rice was not too dry nor soggy. It comes with Roasted Chicken. Taste wise, the meat was tender but nothing great to be shout home about.
A well-planned night with beers, chips and a nice room. Our drinking gang of friends arrived soon after our dinner and we started drinking in our room.
