Another rainy day in KK. We planned to have lunch at Kingfisher but ended up changing our plan since it was raining. As I had a performance for the Astro Event at the 1Borneo Ballroom, we just had a simple lunch at Home Recipe.
Penang Curry Laksa RM6.00
The Penang Curry Laksa had a close to similar taste with the KL's Laksa. It was something I've been longing for. Not the best, but good enough to satisfy my craving. The curry spices flavour was strong but it wasn't too spicy. Not very creamy as only evaporated milk was used instead of coconut milk (at least it makes me feel less guilty). My only qualm was it doesn't comes with the 'sambal' chili which could probably spiced-up the curry noodle.
Char Siu Chicken Rice RM6.00
During my first attempt trying the Char Siu Chicken with the sauce, it tasted a little bit too salty to my liking. I preferred the sweet succulent taste when having Char Siu. Anyway, it wasn't bad at all, it goes well with rice but just wasn't the taste I had been looking for.
Total Bill = RM16 (Including 2 X 100plus RM2)
