Gaya Street is well-known as one of the hot spot area for tourists. Besides the Gaya Market on Sunday morning, the eateries center at Gaya Street are also something not to be miss. Well, today, I'm gonna venture into one of the tourists attraction in Gaya Street and find some good food there to share with my blog's viewers.
After walking around at Gaya Street, I finally found a special place where I'm quite amazed by the ambiance there. Rainforest Cafe, Bangkok Thai Food, Sugarbun, Pizza Hut and BB Cafe are just gathered together at one place. I'm really spoil by the choices. Finally I made up my mind and decided to check out Rainforest Cafe as my first stop.
Rainforest Cafe serves Malay, Chinese, Indian and Western food. There are a variety of choices available in their menu, e.g. burger, sandwich, noodles, rice, steak, pizzas and dessert.
Seafood Fried Rice RM10
Okay, since KK is famous for its seafood, I ordered a Seafood Fried Rice. The portion is not big, just enough for a single serving. It comes with 10 pieces of prawn and it was fresh. There used a good quality of rice as well. Judging from the the price they charged, I still felt that it is reasonable. After all, the taste was not bad.
Jack ordered the Shepperd's Pie; Braised Lamb with mashed potatoes and cheese on top. It was great. The creamy texture of the mashed potatoes combined together with the mozarella cheese and the braised lamb was simply delicious. Although the braised lamb was lacked of herbs taste, the dried olives had successfully bring out more flavour to the dish.
Shepperd's Pie RM9
Total cost + 2 cold water = RM23
The interior of Rainforest Cafe
After having my dinner, I managed to snapped some photos of the eateries center there. Stay tune as we might be blogging about it soon!! It is definitely a nice place to hang around with friends and family.
