If you have been following our blog for quite some times, you will have knew that we love sweet sauce. Every time when I think of Yong Tau Foo and Chee Cheong Fun, the only thing in my mind was the sweet sauce. By paying high expectation on the food at Ampang Yong Tau Foo, we went there for breakfast.
Unfortunately...
When this word appeared, it means that another bad review coming up. Most probably because of the price increase in sugar, the sweet sauce doesn't tasted sweet enough and all I can tasted was just a strong dark soya sauce's flavour. So, I switched my attention to the food. The Chee Cheong Fun without a nice sauce was a total failure. The Yong Tau Foo taste was just so-so only or I can said it was a little bit too salty to my liking. In fact, I found out that the Fish Stuffed Long Bean wasn't fresh. The fish paste was smelly and brittle.

I also love the sweet sauce. A good sweet sauce plays a very important role, expecially for chee cheong fun, fishballs and tim sum.
